BarCamp Leipzig

BarCamp Leipzig was fun!

The most interesting sessions in my opinion were

  • “Scaling Ruby on Rails” (Kennon Balou)
  • “Softwaretesting & Agile Entwicklung” (Mathias Fiedler)
  • “Erdung - Web 1.0 vs. Web 2.0” (Robert Basic)

Having been to the Chaos Communication Congress and Linuxtag several times the BarCamp talks and sessions ranged at a pretty high level.

Organization was good, catering was on a high level (they had 4 sorts of coffee, several types of juice, but no plain water) but the internet connection was unusable most of the time.

Here’s a picture to get an impression of the site, the nice weather we had and the relaxed atmosphere in the lunch break.
